Ryan Garrow

Ryan Garrow started his online marketing journey in 2009, when he was forced to oversee the sales team for TQE Marketing (white labeled PPC) while he ran the Portland operations for TagQuest Marketing (direct mail business). After a few months, Garrow felt the direct mail business should pivot all resources into digital marketing and learn to manage the ads for clients instead of white label. By 2012, Garrow was CEO of TQE Marketing. The team quickly became one of the top ecommerce PPC agencies, handling extremely complex enterprise accounts and growing them beyond what any previous agency had been able to. When Logical Position acquired TQE in 2015, Garrow stayed with the team and has been instrumental to LP becoming one of the largest agencies in the world with over 7000 active clients and 800 employees.

In 2018, Garrow put his money where his mouth is and launched Joyful Dirt. Sales kicked off on Amazon in January 2019, in addition to the website. By 2021 the business was already doing 7 figures and had almost 300 retailers around the country. Garrow exited the business at the end of 2022. He is currently involved in 5 different businesses as an active investor/owner.

Garrow lives with his wife of 13 years, Andrea, and their 4 kids (6 – 11 years old) on 9 acres in Sherwood, OR.
